When the North Flag was released in 2015, it was a big deal. Not only did this watch feature impressive new features like Tudor’s first-ever in-house movement and their first exhibition caseback to show it off, but it was also the first watch in years that was an entirely new entity. It wasn't a dive watch, it wasn’t a heritage-inspired Back Bay, and it wasn’t like any of the other Tudor watches currently available, although it did draw inspiration from Tudor's back catalogue in the vintage Ranger II model. The North Flag was something completely different and positioned itself as a luxury sports watch in it's own right.
 
Inside the 40mm brushed steel case with intergrated bracelet beats Tudor's first manufacture calibre MT5621 giving 70hrs power reserve, the movement can be seen through the exhibition caseback. The matte black dial is almost minimilistic, but does have stark white hands giving great legibility and the yellow accents bring a nice splash of color.
 
The integrated black and yellow leather hybrid strap is well executed and sporty, but does allow this watch to be worn for any occasion. It also benefits from the original Tudor delpoyant folding clasp for added security.
