Originally designed for the Italian Navy, the Panerai Luminor series is known for its durability, reliability, and bold design. Due means “two” in Italian, suggesting that the Panerai Luminor Due is the second generation of the iconic Luminor collection. The Luminor Due is actually built in the mould of the Luminor 1950 case – the pillow-shaped case, the prominent lugs and the patented crown guard and lever protection system, remain.
 
What the Luminor Due takes away is the thickness of the case, which is now about 40% smaller than the Luminor 1950. The result are a fantastic wearing, sleek and rather elegant watch.
 
The minimalist sunburst champagne dial is simply stunning and a masterpiece of simplicity, with large Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock. This creates a clean and highly legible aesthetic, complemented by luminescent hands and markers that offer excellent readability in all light conditions.
 
The Luminor Due is powered by the in-house automatic P.9000 calibre, made specifically made for the Luminor Due series having a thickness of only 4.2mm.
 
The watch comes with a high-quality, supple alligator leather strap that enhances its elegance while ensuring a comfortable fit on the wrist. With the case measuring in at only 10.8mm, this is an exceptionally comforatble wearing watch.
