The black dial of the Moonwatch is equipped with highly legible white hour markers and hands, a chronograph function, and a tachymeter scale on the bezel, essential for calculating speeds—a crucial tool for astronauts. The watch is powered by the manual-winding Omega Caliber 1861, a movement renowned for its reliability and precision.
